Help Glendo Pay Off Their Insane Expenses [VIDEO]
A Denver television station reports that, after the eclipse, the "tiny town of Glendo, Wyoming," is strapped for cash.
That “tiny” town’s population is 205 people, but Glendo hosted 100,000 people as a popular spot for eclipse viewers.
Glendo spent about $40,000 on mowing, placing dumpsters and leaving port-a-potties. The poor residents dealt with a lingering smell for days after the portable restrooms were removed.
So far, about $24,000 has been raised through a GoFundMe site as well as checks and other donations, but they still need about $16,000.
At least this story is also on the Denver station’s website, so maybe it won’t be just Wyoming folks footing the bill for Glendo’s hospitality that many Coloradoans enjoyed.
