Inside The Historic Cars at The Wyoming Train Museum in Douglas

First I have to admit that I did not know Douglas, Wyoming had a train museum. I discovered it by accident when visiting downtown Douglas. But on my first visit there I had arrived just after they had closed for the day.

I went back later to explore inside the museum only to find out that, not only was the museum free, but all of the cars parked out in the yard were open. They want the general public to explore.

The photos that I took, below, will give you a general idea of what you'll see as you walk through the many different kinds of train cars that served the public, back when rail was king. But, honestly, you have to see it and touch history for yourself. It's well worth the visit.
