Jason Aldean may have limited time at home, but the Georgia native makes the most of his time spent in Nashville while trying to juggle the demands of being a country music superstar. The husband and father-of-two recently allowed People magazine a glimpse into his personal life during his time spent on an 18-acre Tennessee estate.

“It’s my one of my favorite parts of the day,” Aldean tells People of tucking his two daughters — 9-year-old Keeley and 5-year-old Kendyl  – into bed at night.. The doting father even participates in tickle fights with his daughters just before they drift off into dreamland.

As for their togetherness during the afternoon hours, the recently-announced CMA Entertainer of the Year nominee makes sure the Aldean clan, which includes wife Jessica, remains close — no matter where they are.

For his youngest daughter, that’s hopefully Target’s toy aisle. “Kendyl loves going there for some reason,” Aldean says. “But when I’m home it doesn’t matter whether we’re going to the Home Depot or the post office, we’re almost always together.”

Though Aldean prefers to keep his personal and professional life segregated, the laid-back singer does admit that having the publication visit his 5,000-square foot home was a rather enjoyable experience. “I had a good time doing the shoot and having everybody come out to the house,” he says of the photo shoot

“It gives the fans an inside look at my place and my life offstage, which I thought was great.”

Fans hoping to see the exclusive spread can pick up a copy of the publication’s Country Special edition of the magazine, out now. Aldean is currently making his media rounds promoting ‘Night Train,’ the singer’s highly-anticipated new studio album. The project, which features the Top 10 single, ‘Take a Little Ride,’ is expected to hit store shelves and all digital music outlets on Oct. 16.
