Miranda Lambert had to cancel her scheduled show tonight at the Calgary Stampede in Canada due to a serious inflammation of her vocal cords.  What will that mean for her performance at Cheyenne Frontier Days next weekend?

Miranda posted the following statement on her website -

"I can't believe this is happening.  I'm sure most of you heard the news about the show in Calgary having to be rescheduled due to my vocal issues. Thanks for all your posts and well wishes, I promise I will do everything to get better quickly."

She also apologized to any fans who have tickets to tonight's show.

"I am so sorry that I can't be at Stampede this week, but I'll be back in Calgary just as soon as I can for all of my Stampede fans."

Miranda Lambert's website doesn't give any further details and it's unclear when she might be able to perform again.  Miranda is scheduled to perform at Cheyenne Frontier Days next Saturday, July 18th.

We will continue to monitor Miranda's health updates and will let you know of any possible changes to her upcoming show at CFD.
