A new wildfire has been reported in northwest Wyoming, the second fire to start in as many days in the area.

Dubbed the Stinkingwater Fire, it was reported at 50 acres in size by the U.S. Forest Service. The fire is burning northwest of Cody in the Sunlight Basin area.

Further details regarding the new fire were not immediately available.

A day earlier, the Fishhawk Fire was reported south of the North Fork of the Shoshone River roughly 40 miles west of Cody. Initially estimated at 500 acres in size, the blaze had grown to 4,048 acres by Tuesday afternoon.

In western Wyoming, the Saddle Butte Fire which threatened homes in Jackson is now 100% contained. Residents of the Saddle Butte Subdivision, who were evacuated due to the fire, were set to be allowed to return to their homes at 8 p.m. Tuesday.
