It has been 6 months since the Glenrock community had access to a food pantry.

Thanks to a group of local volunteers this will no longer be the case.

Tomorrow, September 11 the Glenrock Area Food Pantry will open to the public.

I am thankful we have the opportunity to serve our community in a way that is definitely needed. I never realized the true need we had for this until we began to talk about making this service available. The positive reaction in our town was humbling, and we knew we had to make this happen.  -Jilian Helmey (Treasurer)

The Food Pantry is located at 506 W. Birch #15 in downtown Glenrock.

It will be open the 2nd and 4th Wednesday every month.

Distribution times will be from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. for seniors and the disabled, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. for the general public.

This is a Community Owned food pantry and they welcome ANYONE to volunteer or donate, whether monetary or in-kind donations.
