A woman in Russia says she was hypnotized into giving $40,000 in cash to two women.

The woman told Moscow police that two women approached her after she had taken the money out of her bank account, and that they somehow used hypnotism to convince her to give them the cash to break a spell that had been placed on her husband and son.

The spellbinding suspects could face up to 10 years in jail if caught. (UPI)

Party's Over

A Florida man who calls himself the "King of Rock and Roll Debauchery" lived up to his name when he threw a house party ... and wound up getting thrown in jail.

31-year-old Michael Ward, who is Gary Busey's nephew and also goes by the name Mike Busey, was arrested at his "Mike Busey's End of the World Sexy Santa Holiday B-Day" on charges of selling alcohol without a liquor license.

An undercover police officer went to the party at Ward's home, which he calls the "Sausage Castle," and paid a $20 cover charge and also purchased a $3 beer at the bar, according to the arrest report.

After posting bond, Ward tweeted, "Last Night I Got Arrested For Throwing A EPIC Party!" and also posted a pic of himself in the back of the patrol car. (Toronto Sun)

A Scottish brewing company quickly sold out of its special Christmas brew, which gets its holiday seasoning ... from the needles of spruce trees.

The Williams Brothers Brewing Company only made 800 bottles of Nollaig Festive Ale, which is based on a Viking recipe. But if you are pining for one of these 20-dollars-a bottle beers ... you will have to wait till next year.

Williams Brothers said they are boosting production to 10,000 bottles next year due to the popularity of the spruced-up brew. (UPI)
