Volunteers are asked to meet in the west parking lot of the Tate Pumphouse Trail Center no later than 8:50 on Saturday May 18th.  Clean-up supplies will be distributed and volunteers will be assigned to a particular section of trail and sent off for a couple of hours of fun work that benefits the whole community.  Parkway Board President Eric Easton, who has participated in the annual Parkway clean-up for over a decade, had this to say about the event:

This is a great opportunity to clean up all of the litter and debris that has accumulated over the long winter months so the trails are in great shape for summer and all of the events that occur along the trails, such as the Casper Marathon scheduled for Sunday, June 2nd.

KCWY13, Townsquare Media, and Cameco Resources  will sponsoring this years event.  For further information please call Angela Emery at 577-1206 or e-mail platteriver@wyoming.com.
