A Canadian woman used her planning skills to put together a last minute garage sale aimed at ridding herself of a decade's worth of trash – also known as her husband.

The woman, who declined to give her name, says that she found out that her husband was secretly seeing another woman and scheduled a "lying cheating sale" to dump all his stuff at a deep discount while he was out of town with "his floozie." Her ad promised shoppers a crack at the man's favorite recliner and a garage full of "tools he had no idea how to use."

She warned that clothes shoppers would be disappointed, "since we will have already burned those in the driveway," but said that anyone who asked could take a look at the ashes from that fire. (The Province)

A Florida woman who acted like a heel in a local nightclub may be going to prison – after she tweeted sarcastic comments about beating an acquaintance over the head with her stiletto shoe.

Decardra L. “Cardie” Russell had a history with her victim, the mother of a child fathered by the guy she was dating. They'd scuffled once before at Russell's home, but no charges were filed that time. This time around, the ladies began tussling in a club, where Russell took off one of her heels and beaned the other woman with it.

Russell was identified after she started talking about the incident through her Twitter account. She'll face trial on aggravated battery charges. (TC Palm)

Police in a German town slapped a parking violation on a Volkswagen Beetle – that was made entirely of snow!

Pranksters had built the car in a no-parking zone, taking great pains to perfect the outlines of its headlights, windshield and even the distinctive VW logo on the hood. Cops were so convinced that it was simply a snow-covered vehicle that they left a ticket – only to have someone notice that, when they scraped the snow off the license plate, there was no license plate!

The authorities won't pull into reverse on the ticket, though. A spokesperson said, "Whether it was made of metal or snow it was still obstructing a road that should have been clear." (Orange News)
