Ooh That Smell

A man in Sweden has been banned from his city's buses ... until he does something about his awful body odor.

The man, whose name was not released, received a personal visit from transportation officials in Uppsala after a group of drivers signed a petition saying that they and their passengers could no longer take the man's foul scent.

"Think of the worst odor you can imagine and then add 10 percent," bus driver Goran Frick told a local newspaper. "The stench is awful and has gotten worse." (UPI)

The Wheels on the Bus Go Straight To Jail

A Georgia teenager who'd just gotten out of jail couldn't get a ride home after his release, so he took the bus which landed him back behind bars, since he took it from a parking lot without permission.

Jonathan Cole Collins had hoofed it more than six miles before his energy started to flag, so when he spotted a school bus with its door open and the keys in the ignition, he decided to grab a seat, and a steering wheel. Collins drove the vehicle about eight more miles to his home county, where he was busted for the theft. (Atlanta Journal Constitution)

Stripped of his Return

In Texas, a man faked a story about a robbery to avoid telling his wife that he spent their $1,000 tax return at a strip bar.

Jesus Mata Jr. recently received the refund and decided to spend it at the bar.

Then he realized he’d have to explain the missing money to his wife – so he made up a story to police that gunmen with assault weapons took the money.

The cops went on a wild goose chase, found no leads, and then pretty much figured out what was going.

Mata was taken into custody on a charge of filing a false report, but additional charges could be filed. (The Denver Channel)
