Dumb Criminals

Sure, the holiday season can be a bit of a hassle sometimes, but we've never actually tried to ruin Christmas. This Texas man, however, fully embraced his Grinchy nature and was caught on camera stealing Christmas decorations from his neighbors.

Bah, humbug! A Canadian Grinch ruined the annual holiday parade for dozens of children last Saturday. The intoxicated 24-year-old man, who hailed from Kingston, was arrested after police received a complaint. Parents informed authorities that this jerk ruined Christmas for their youngsters by walking up and down the parade lines and telling them that Santa Claus doesn't exist.

Who's really being punished here? Valerie Rodgers, or the cops she's cooking for? It depends on good she is in the kitchen, we guess. Rodgers was sentenced to cooking Thanksgiving dinner for three cops and a year of probation for reckless driving that resulted in felony charges.

The worst thing you can do when you’re staring into the judging beam of a police officer’s flashlight is lie to them, whether you did the thing they are accusing you of or not. This is officially worse than that.

While intelligence isn’t a prerequisite for a life of crime, it certainly would’ve helped these ten boneheaded scofflaws. One clumsy bank robber shoots himself in the foot, a thief can’t figure out how to operate a door as a means of escape and another gets hopelessly stuck while trying to break into a store. If criminals keep being this dumb, us law-abiding citizens have nothing to worry about.
