Have you been to Thankful Thursdays yet? If not, here is what you're missing!

Each week we get together to help raise money and awareness for local charities, as well as have a lot of fun with our friends and co-workers.

Thankful Thursdays has only two more weeks remaining in our spring run and this week we're helping the Children's Advocacy Project or also know as CAP.

The Children's Advocacy Project works to provide a more effective and efficient community response to child maltreatment. All to often, these services are needed in order to minimize trauma to children, to break the cycle of abuse.

In 2007, CAP became the first and only Child Advocacy Center in Wyoming to receive the prestigious National Children’s Alliance Accreditation, proving that CAP is dedicated to providing high quality services to investigators throughout the state. CAP remains a private, non-profit entity funded through a variety of federal, state, county and city funding along with private foundations and United Way support. With the support and generosity of community donations, CAP has provided services to more than 1,600 children, completed over 1,100 Forensic Interviews, 250 forensic medical exams and nearly 1500 individual counseling sessions since 2002.

Grab your friends and co-workers and join us after work at the Beacon Club!

Thankful Thursdays!

We want to invite you to be a part of the biggest happy hour party in the state, each Thursday!! Make plans to join us each week, as My Country 95.5 will be at the Beacon Club to support charities near and dear to the hearts of our community. We’ll also be raising money for our local charity each week in several ways. We’ll raise money with a 50/50 raffle, there will be a live auction and raffle items, donations and best of all – we’ll have a lot of fun doing it each week.

Did I mention that we are going to try and giveaway $500 Cash every week?

Indeed we will, in fact over the course of the next several months we hope to giveaway the $500 prize several times. How will we do this? It’s as simple as the song “99 Bottles of Beer on the Wall”, except instead of bottles of beer – we’ll have bottles of prizes and one lucky bottle will contain a $500 Cash prize. We’ll actually start with 95 bottles of prizes (numbered for My Country 95.5) and each week we’ll give nine lucky contestants a chance to draw out one bottle each and whatever prize they find inside the bottle they choose – that prize is theirs to keep! Each week, we’ll remove more bottles as we give them away, (65, 64, 63, 62, etc…) until we giveaway the Grand Prize of $500 dollars. Once the Grand Prize bottle is found, we will reload all 95 bottles with prizes the following week and start over again. Oh, I guess there is one small catch. You Can’t Win, If You’re Not There!!

Come join Rodeo Rick and My Country 95.5 for a live broadcast each Thursday from 5-7 PM from the famous Beacon Club. We’ll have tons of drink specials, including 50 cent drafts in addition to 2 for 1 drinks, free samples from liqueur distributors and some awesome auction items from Western Distributing, Coors Brewing Company and more! Plus you’ll never know what other surprises might be in store each week!!

Grab your friends and co-workers and make plans now to join us each and every Thursday at the Beacon Club for Thankful Thursdays!!

(You must be at least 21 years old to participate, but this event at the Beacon is open to all ages - serving food until 7pm. Western Distributing, Coors Brew Company, The Beacon Club, The Children's Advocacy Project and My Country 95.5 encourage everyone to drink responsibly!)
