Thankful Thursdays is back at the Beacon Club this week to grow support for another local charity. This week we are raising money for the Casper Humane Society - A "No Kill" shelter that helps animals find loving homes in Natrona County.

Plus you could win $500 Cash this week - just like Teresa Kessler did last Thursday!

Thankful Thursdays is a great opportunity for you to gather with your family, friends and co-workers to have a little fun, while helping raise awareness (and money) for local charities. Last week, thanks to the generosity of those in attendance, we were able to raise $3462.00 for the Wyoming Medical Foundation's - Angels Program.

Our 5 week Thankful Thursdays total is now over $12,400!!! That money raised has all gone to local charities, and we couldn't do it without you!!

This week, we you will show your support in helping the the Casper Humane Society. Most folks may not realize that the Casper Humane Society doesn't receive federal, state or local government funds. The Shelter and care of the animals is funded entirely by the generous contributions of local citizens.  All revenues used to run the facility come from donations, bequests, memorials, adoption fees and fund drives - like Thankful Thursdays.

It is the purpose of the Casper Humane Society to find homes for homeless animals, to encourage neutering of pets, to prevent and alleviate cruelty to animals and to provide humane education to our community.

The program provides all kinds of services from errand running to hiring a housekeeper, gas and grocery assistance, lodging assistance, encouraging patients during treatments and much more.

For details about adoption or to volunteer your services, call - (307) 265-5439.

Thankful Thursday’s

loading...

We want to invite you to be a part of the biggest happy hour party in the state, each Thursday!! Plan to join us, as My Country 95.5 will be throwing a party at the Beacon Club to support charities near and dear to the hearts of our community. We raise money for our local charities in several ways. We sell 50/50 raffle tickets, there is a live auction and sometimes we'll have raffle items.  Donations are always accepted and best of all – we’ll have a lot of fun doing it all each week.

Did I mention that we are going to try and giveaway $500 Cash every week?

Indeed we will, in fact over the course of the next several months we hope to giveaway the $500 prize several times. How will we do this? It’s as simple as the song “99 Bottles of Beer on the Wall”, except instead of bottles of beer – we’ll have bottles of prizes and one lucky bottle will contain a $500 Cash prize. We’ll actually start with 95 bottles of prizes (numbered for My Country 95.5) and each week we’ll give nine lucky contestants a chance to draw out one bottle each and whatever prize they find inside the bottle they choose – that prize is theirs to keep! Each week, we’ll remove more bottles as we give them away, (65, 64, 63, 62, etc…) until we giveaway the Grand Prize of $500 dollars. Once the Grand Prize bottle is found, we will reload all 95 bottles (+1 extra with a special prize) with prizes the following week and start over again. Oh, I guess there is one small catch. You Can’t Win, If You’re Not There!!

Come join Rodeo Rick and My Country 95.5 for a live broadcast each Thursday from 5-7 PM from the famous Beacon Club. We’ll have tons of drink specials, including 50 cent drafts in addition to 2 for 1 drinks, free samples from liqueur distributors and some awesome auction items from Western Distributing, Coors Brewing Company and more! Plus you’ll never know what other surprises might be in store each week!!

Grab your friends and co-workers and make plans now to join us each and every Thursday at the Beacon Club for Thankful Thursdays!!

(You must be at least 21 years old to participate, but this event at the Beacon is open to all ages – serving food until 9 pm. Western Distributing, Coors Brew Company, The Beacon Club and My Country 95.5 encourage everyone to drink responsibly!)
