We already know that our Wyoming skies are often amazing. A girl learned this recently as she came upon a brilliant Wyoming double rainbow.

Brittany Howit just shared this video on YouTube. It’s understandable that she’s pretty impressed. But, is a double rainbow rare? Um, no.

The How Stuff Works website describes the phenomenon. Truth is we see this all the time in Wyoming. It doesn’t make it any less awesome to see, but it’s pretty common.

As they point out, a much more rare thing is a twinned rainbow which has two separate arcs that appear to come from the same base. Seeing that would be sweet.

It’s just a quick little burst of happiness as you deal with Monday. Thank you, Wyoming sky, for being you.
