Casper Police Release Name Of Driver Involved In Fatal Bicycle Collision
Police are now releasing the name of the driver, who is accused of striking and killing a bicyclist in downtown Casper.
Update Thursday, July 3rd 10:20am: Police say Arthur has turned himself in. He is awaiting an initial hearing in court, where he will be formally charged. More details to come.
Original story, Wednesday July 2nd 5:20pm:The Casper Police Department says they intend to arrest Lamont Arthur (unknown age, and location), for aggravated vehicular homicide and aggravated assault.
This is in connection with the SUV-bicycle collision that happened at the intersection of First and Beech Streets in late May.
39-year old Matthew Harker was killed while riding his bicycle in that area, but details of what exactly happened, have not yet been released.
