For many, the fight, if you want to call it that, between Mike Tyson and Logan Paul was likely the first time many people checked out a boxing match. The main event wasn't that entertaining, but the three bouts before were fantastic.

If that's the case for your family, the kids may have gotten the boxing bug and want to try it out.

Good news.

There's a new boxing club in Central Wyoming that opens this week.

Warriors Boxing Club will be open to kids aged 8-17, and they're offering a free class to try it out. If your kid likes it, you can register for $20.

The classes will be one hour, two times per week.

Contact information is included in the Facebook page below.

Getting your kids involved in boxing offers many benefits.

Physical Fitness - Boxing can help develop strength, speed, agility, flexibility, and endurance.

Confidence - Help give them self-confidence, teach them to work through their fears, and handle pressures.

Self-defense - Will give kids the skills to stand up for and defend themselves.

Social Development - This gives them confidence and helps them learn good sportsmanship, respect, and admiration for others.

Mental Health -  Boxing will give kids the mental toughness to overcome any challenges life may throw at them.

Healthy Habits - Boxing is physical, and eating healthy is essential to maintaining the skills and drive to keep boxing.

If you're looking to get your kids off the couch and into the ring, Thursday and Friday are the perfect times to offer them the option to start boxing.
