Central Wyoming Rodeo Moves Along in Casper
The PRCA circuit is in Casper this week and rodeo fans will get to see some of the top names in the sport all week long. In the bareback, Buffalo, Wyoming native Cole Reiner is sitting in 2nd place in the bareback with an 84. He took 7th in the world standings last season in the bareback and 3rd at the National Finals Rodeo. Cooper Filipek who had a solid College National Finals Rodeo for Gillette College turned in 82 on Tuesday in the bareback so that put him 3rd.
Statler Wright from the famous Wright rodeo family leads the saddle bronc with an 87.5 and Fulton Rutland from Westville, Oklahoma had an 86.5 in Wednesday's bull riding which put him at the top of the leaderboard.
Bodie Mattson who competed for the University of Wyoming had an 11 flat on Tuesday to take the lead in tie-down roping.
