Eighteen Wheels And A Dozen Roses Legend (VIDEO)

Today's "legend" is Kathy Mattea.  Kathy began recording in 1983.  To date, she's recorded seventeen albums and has had more than thirty singles on Billboard's Hot Country Singles & Tracks charts.

One of her most famous tunes, Eighteen Wheels and a Dozen Roses is from the 1987 album, "Untasted Honey."  It went number one in the both the U.S. and Canada in 1988. 

It would also be her first video, and mark the first time since Dolly Parton in 1979, that a single by a solo female country artist would  spend multiple weeks at number one on the country charts.

Kathy continues to actively tour and perform.
