Here’s What Wyomingites Love To Wear To Bed
Being comfortable while you sleep is a very important part of a good night's rest. If you're not comfortable, you're waking up in a bad mood, tired and cranky.
What you wear to bed contributes to your comfort level and a new survey shows the top sleepwear choices across the country.
Here are some of the results from the survey:
Most common sleepwear in U.S. - Underwear/ t shirt or tank top. Just underwear is the 2nd most common way to sleep
Over 1/2 of Americans haven't changed their sleepwear since they were kids
1/3 of Americans sleep with socks on
Only 11% of Americans sleep au natural....butt naked...nude...free as a bird...
The interesting part of this survey is that there were 8 states that didn't offer enough information for them to be included in the survey. Wyoming, South Dakota, North Dakota, Montana, Alaska, Hawaii, New Hampshire and Vermont, were the 8.
I guess they thought that we all sleep the same: bundled up and fully clothed. I get it, except for Hawaii, we're all cold weather, snowy states, but darn-it we count too.
Since they didn't include Wyoming, I decided I would conduct my own survey, because now we all want to know if we're right on with the rest of the country here in Wyoming.
After a quick tally, yep, we're right on track with the rest of the U.S., at least for part of the year.
My survey shows that the most common way to sleep in Wyoming is Underwear and T Shirt/ Tank Top. Many that answered say that's what they sleep in all the time, but that's not the the case for many of the participants in the survey.
The twist is; when the weather starts to change, so do the sleeping clothes. When the thermometer starts of fall, the clothing starts to accumulate. Underwear and t shirt when it's warm, turns into full-on pajamas when it's cold. Could be flannel pants and long sleeves, flannel nightgowns, or full pajama sets.
Even though it seems like it would be really cold sleeping nekked in Wyoming, at least during the winter, there are many Wyomingites that only wear what God gave them. Really there is a pretty big number of people that don't like to be restricted while they sleep.
Really, I never thought I would put as much time or effort into finding out what people wear while they're sleeping, but the answers people gave were pretty interesting.
