Kenny Rogers Is A Legend (VIDEO)

Today we honor Kenny Rogers, who just happens to be celebrating 50 years as a singer, writer, actor, and entertainer.  It' true!  In fact, there's a tv special, Kenny Rogers: The First 50 Years, that will air Tuesday, March 8th on GAC. 

Kenny got his musical start with a group called The Scholars.  Next came the Bobby Doyle Trio, and then the First Edition.  He would make many a hit with the latter and be known as "Hippy Kenny," before embarking on a solo career that would span decades and produce more than 150 singles including beloved Country classics like, The Gambler, and Coward Of The County.
