I have come across something you might find interesting if you live in Mills. There's a new top 10 that includes it as having one of the lowest cost of living rates in Wyoming.

This comes courtesy of Niche. They rank and grade all the Wyoming cities based on how much it costs to live there including housing values, etc. It was a pleasant surprise when I saw Mills at #9 in the state.

This ranking is curious when you see that Niche rated Mills as #18 for best places to buy a home and #25 for diversity.

If you dig into the details of why Niche ranked Mills the way they did, you'll see it's given generally good grades for housing, schools, crime and at least a passing rank for being good for families.

What about the rest of our area? Douglas comes in at #11 with Casper a distant #18. Ouch.
