Congestion is on the menu for the City of Mills this week.

When you live in Wyoming, you come to expect construction season, and we happen to be right in the middle of it now.

Construction season will throw you a curveball this week if you live in Mills near Austin Engineering along First St. They will be paving their parking lot and need the public's help to keep things moving.

The public is being asked not to park on S. Benton Ave. or in City Park from July 29 - Aug. 2 so that shipments in and out of the facility are not delayed while the paving project is ongoing.

That seems like a fairly simple request, and they've suggested parking along Spawn Ave. for this week.

I know it can be inconvenient, but it shouldn't be a big deal for just a week. Also, remember, if you're driving down 1st Street, you may see more shipping traffic. Altering your travel will help keep the frustrations down.
