Natrona County Library to be Open 7 Days a Week Starting in 2020
The Natrona County Library will once again be open on Sundays beginning in 2020, following the addition of four new employees.
Over the summer, county commissioners increased library funding to allow Sunday operations, which were eliminated in 2017. Lisa Scroggins, the library's executive director, said in a statement Thursday that she's thrilled with the new staff members and looks forward to "bringing daily services back to our community."
The change, beginning Jan. 5, would see the library operating from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays. During the summer, however, the library will be closed on Sundays, as it has been in the past.
Recently, outgoing library employees were replaced and several current employees moved into different positions.
The new hires since September include Coralie Crumrine, Linann McDonald, Kaylee Bloom, Sheri Salazar, Lisa Arthursen and Jana Adams.
