Okay, it's time to get serious.  As much as it pains me to call this man a "Legend;" (I can't believe we're both that old!)  if anyone qualifies for the honor, it's George Strait.

George Harvey Strait, known as "The King of Country" was born in 1952.  He had his first hit, Unwound, chart in 1981.  That was also the year when Prince Charles and Lady Diana were married, MTV was launched, and Luke and Laura were married on the soap opera, General Hospital. (Trust me, it was big.)

To this day, the "troubadour" is still taking on a "youngin's" pace. He's appeared and performed on all of the major awards shows, driving one of the biggest tours of the last two years, and organizing and participating in his annual, George Strait Team Roping Classic.

George is the Academy of Country Music's Artist of the Decade, and has spent his 30 plus years with his first record label, RCA.   He has 57 number one singles all on Country radio, and is not a member of the Grand Ole Opry.

Here's The Chair.
