Cheyenne Police Trying to ID Suspect in Attempted Robbery [VIDEO]
Police are looking for a man who tried to rob a gas station in Cheyenne, but got away empty handed.
Officer Kevin Malatesta says it happened on Oct. 10 at the Big D Exxon at 2029 Dell Range Blvd.
"A little after 10:30 a.m., this suspect entered the store and left," said Malatesta. "He came back several minutes later wearing a ski mask and attempted to take merchandise."
"When store employees confronted him, he fought with the employees, losing his shirt in the process," Malatesta added. "He then fled in this white Chevy Blazer."
Malatesta is asking anyone who recognizes the man to call Crime Stoppers Silent Witness at (307) 638-TIPS. Callers will remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
